Fresh Milk: The Secret Life of Breasts
Fiona Giles
A very
different book on breastfeeding, Fiona looks at the cultural
and social aspects of breasts and breastfeeding, without
taking itself too seriously. A fun and interesting book to
read. |

| What to look for in a good book
on breastfeeding |
| |
|
A good breastfeeding book should explain the process of
breastfeeding as well as some of the more common problems. It should
present solutions that the mother can carry out herself as well as
medical choices when a problem occurs. |
| |
|
There should be clear pictures of breastfeeding babies
of different ages with good images of latching a baby onto the breast.
It should also cover sections on returning to work, breastfeeding older
children and special situations such as breastfeeding an adopted baby. |
